About

WHO REMAINS: The End of Us All is a civilian-survival strategy and narrative simulation set in Halden, a river-port city in the fictional Republic of Corvana. You begin with no institutional power — a teacher, a delivery driver, a bookkeeper, someone with a household to feed and nothing else. Over a sixty-day campaign, finance, politics, war, infrastructure, illness, and scarcity interact as one connected system, not as separate menus: a fuel shortage raises transport costs, food prices rise, protests grow, a curfew is declared, a clinic loses its staff, and a medical role opens up — one event at a time, over real days. Each day gives you three action points and a stack of physical objects to read before you spend them: a radio bulletin, a two-day-old newspaper, a bank statement, a neighbor's note. Every source has its own age and its own reliability — nothing on the table is guaranteed true. You decide what to believe, then what to do about it. Sixteen roles exist in Halden's institutions, from Building Representative to Interim Mayor, and every one of them opens for the same reason: someone who held it is dead, has fled, was removed, or resigned. Power in this game is never a reward for leveling up — it is a vacancy you can choose to fill, at a cost the game always shows you first. A cast of thirty-eight named neighbors, officials, and family members can sicken, disappear, or die, and losses are never undone — the chronicle records what happened and the world carries on without them. Three difficulty modes (Story, Survival, Collapse) change how much the game tells you in advance, not how much content you get. Seeded runs, nine systemic crises, and fourteen distinct endings mean each sixty-day campaign plays out differently. A run chronicle and twenty-eight achievements track what you protected, what you lost, and who ended up holding the chair when it mattered. There is no combat to master and no real-world country, conflict, or public figure depicted. The full campaign, every ending, and every accessibility option — text scaling, high contrast, full keyboard and controller remapping, reduced motion, subtitles and sound descriptions — are free from the first launch. WHO REMAINS is free. Optional paid add-ons introduce new campaigns, crises, roles, regions, events, and endings. There are no advertisements, subscriptions, loot boxes, premium currency, or pay-to-win purchases.
