Depths of the Forgotten King

The King does not remember his name. He remembers the crown. Depths of the Forgotten King is a stylised 3D action roguelite. Every descent assembles a new dungeon from five biomes, each with its own creatures, its own stone, and its own music. Clear a room to unseal its doors, draft one of three relics, and push deeper — or take the detour, and find out what the cracked wall was hiding. Combat is dodge-roll and timing. Eight weapons change how you fight rather than how hard you hit: a hammer that shockwaves, daggers that flurry, a bow that punches through a body and into the one behind it. Forty-four relics stack into builds that do things — critical strikes that arc lightning, corpses that burst and finish the room for you, a dodge that blasts everything you roll past. Death is not the end of anything. Gold banks at the camp, the forge has forty permanent upgrades, and the keeper always has something to say about what you did last time. And there is a crown shard hidden on every floor. The game will never tell you what they are for.
