Your Mythic count now matches Xbox exactly

Site news · 2026-09-30

Xbox now publishes every player's official Mythic count, and XCT reads it straight from Xbox. The Mythics number on your profile, in your Mythic Vault and on the Mythic leaderboard is now the same number your Xbox profile shows under “Mythic Achievements”.

We recalibrated every profile

• 12,745 profiles now show Xbox's exact number.

• 5,605 counts changed: 4,557 went up and 1,048 went down. The other 7,140 already matched.

• Mythics across these profiles: 1,297,358 → 1,335,969 .

• 157 members have a Mythic count for the first time.

• Half of the changed counts moved by 2 or less.

Why numbers moved

Before, XCT worked out your Mythics from each game's achievement list. That missed some Mythics: games with a lot of DLC, where the original achievements are a small part of the list, and games you hid on Xbox, which Xbox still counts. In a few games XCT counted a Mythic that Xbox does not. Now Xbox decides.

Hidden games stay hidden

Your count includes the Mythics in games you hid on Xbox, the same as on your Xbox profile. The games themselves stay off your public XCT pages.

It stays in sync

Your number refreshes each time XCT syncs your achievements, and within about 15 minutes after you unlock something. XCT Mythics (games where only confirmed-unobtainable achievements are left) stay a separate total in your vault.
